In work for film I have supported the development of screenplays and the curation of film festivals showcasing new talent. This has honed my understanding of storytelling, find connections and questions within individual pieces of work and across the canon. I am concerned with current and contemporary voices, makers and stories as well as utilizing the archive to continue conversations.
Script Reading
As a film script reader – much like my theatre reading – I offer notes, editorial, suggestions and feedback to screenwriters or a producing team. My notes depend on the project and the depth of my involvement. I can write script reports for talent executives, funding bodies and production companies.

Programming
As a film programmer I am responsible for seeking out, shortlisting and curating film festivals. I am attune to selecting and showcasing unique talent.
I can also host and facilitate Q&As and events surrounding films, making the festival space a gathering place for conversations among audiences.
